Signs your child is not functioning optimally

  • Eating: fussy eater, picky eater, restricted eater
  • Breathing: wheezing, asthma, mouth breather, snoring
  • Pooping; constipated, very stinky poop, gassy, runny poop, mucus in the poop
  • Sleeping; waking up at night, difficulty going to bed, waking up very early
  • Activity; limited activity, low energy, low stamina, spaghetti legs, falls easily, uncoordinated or hyperactive and will not stop moving (gets worse when they are tired)
  • Learning; learning difficulties, attention problems, hyperactivity, difficult time concentrating
  • Mood; tantrums, anxiety, fear, depression, poor control of emotions, non flexible thinking
  • Immunity; gets sick very often, slow healing

A lot of the time we stick a label on a child like: “ADD, ADHD, sensory overload, learning difficulties, eczema, food allergies” but really these “diseases” or issues are actually a set of symptoms caused by underlying ROOT factors. Understanding and eliminating these root factors is what will help your child heal and is a much better strategy than to put a band-aid medicine to cover up the symptoms.

Looking for root causes is looking for the underlying inflammation that is causing your child to behave like they do. Sometimes it’s as simple as adding in a supplement. Sometimes we need to dig deeper.

I never pretend to say that food alone will cure your child's issues, but understanding that food and chemicals (which are found in our foods) have a massive effect on our health is the first and most important step that you can take to enhance your child's health and potential.

No matter if your child is dealing with anxiety, sleep issues, learning difficulties, skin conditions, constipation, mood and behaviour issues (tantrums, uncontrolled behaviour and emotions) you can help reduce the severity of these by noticing what you are feeding your child.
